Design services
In creating a landscape plan for your home, we will visit your site and have an in-depth discussion about your needs and desires. As a licensed California Landscape Architect trained at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Jim Redman will listen to your vision for the property and your budget requirements and provide his years of design experience and knowledge of sustainable landscapes and best construction practices to creatively plan your project. This discussion lays the groundwork for creating a preliminary conceptual design followed by a detailed construction and planting plan, if desired. Plans will typically include scaled layouts of all hardscape elements, woodwork, water elements and pools, walls and pathways, low voltage lighting, and detailed planting plans. When the design is approved, the next step is the implementation of the design, construction and completion of your garden.

If you already have a plan or are currently working with another landscape design professional, we welcome the opportunity to work closely with them and provide you with a detailed construction proposal for implementation of the project.

Construction services
Our team will expertly handle all phases of your project including drainage, lighting, retaining walls, vegetable gardens and fruit orchards, fences, arbors, pools and spas, water features, outdoor kitchens, concrete and masonry, accent boulders and boulder walls, decorative pots, vertical gardens, organic soil amendments, lawns and planting of healthy and beautiful trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials. As a California licensed landscape contractor, Jim Redman provides a full list of references and a detailed bid and contract so that there are no surprises, drama or problems down the road. All phases of construction work are detailed in both the contract and invoice statements.

Garden care
Most customers for whom we have installed landscapes are offered maintenance services to keep their new gardens looking their best. We promote sustainable landscape practices where possible, recycle green waste, try to keep noise to a minimum and provide weekly, quarterly and annual services to keep your landscape neat, growing and looking fresh.
